“Capturing The Hearts Of Authors, Business Leaders, Community, Celebrities And The Media.”
Adelaida “Addy” grew up harvesting crops in the San Joaquin Valley of Central California.  Her family was involved with the UFW (United Farm Workers) and walked along with Cesar Chavez during the strikes. “SI Se Puede” “Yes You Can” were powerful words that inspired her.  When people said she couldn’t,  Addy said “WATCH ME”.  She  is the first in her family to graduate from a university &  later obtained a  Master’s Degree.  As a student, Addy produced programs for Radio Bilingue;  her focus was educational opportunities.
Addy was a founding member of the Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Fresno as a college student. In 1988  Addy was appointed the Executive Director for the Bakersfield Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.  In 1989 the chapter was recognized as the “Western Region Chamber of the Year” by the USHCC  for rapid growth and accomplishments. Membership soared from 20 to 147 members!  She also served as Vice President, Membership Chair and attended the California State Hispanic Chamber Quarterly meetings.

Addy’s corporate experience included positions for Lockheed Martin Space  Programs in Houston TX and later EDS.   After a layoff, she looked for a way to stay home with children while continuing to work. She found her passion with jewelry.   Despite ups and downs, she established her business and developed a unique “ninch” creating jeweled bookmarks for authors.  Daniel Gutierrez, Author of Stepping Into Greatness was Addys’ first author client.  Doors  opened  with other authors such as Maria Marin,  Julie Stav, Yasmin Davidds,  Dr. Ana Nogales,  Victoria Lowe,  Mary Castillo, Sylvia Mendoza, James Parker Jr. and more.  Now opportunities are opening with  business/organizations such as Las Comadres, NLBWA, HOPE, SanDollar Cosmetics…etc.    Addy has a long track record of working successfully  with business organizations,  and supporting non profits.   By working together, parternering up and assisting fellow Latina entrepreneur’s doors open and create opportunities for the community.

Addy founder/designer of Heaven Sent Jewelry has become an inspiration for many women nationwide. Addy’s hand-crafted  Austrian Swarovski custom-designed book marks have become her signature item and fastest-selling item collection.  She utilized technology in branding her business, using her website that she manages, email campaigns, and blog .   Recognized as a leader in business after 15 months in operation by the O.C. Hispanic Chamber in 2005,  in 2006 she received the Emerging Latina by National Latina Women’s Association O.C. Chapter, Latino OC 100,  O.C. Business Journal Women in Business Nominee and has been interviewed by TV, magazines and newspapers.  Addy’s wished to  share her story as an entrepreneur/stay home mom on her blog, people could understand that the accomplishments have required much focus, thinking outside the box and lots of drive.  Nothing will happen if you do not have confidence, a vision and passion.  When you take the business  win-win philosophy approach with fellow entrepreneurs, organizations and the community doors open.   One must visualize the mission, take steps each day and have a positive attitude.  Her spirit and accomplishments have empowered other women and her 4 & 5 year old children  to say Se Si Puede!...  Addy is looking forward to writing a book  in the future.

Until then, Addy is one of the many OC Business Moms featured in - The Business Mom Guide Book

“Being a great mom or a great business owner is no longer a choice,” says Addy. “I am proud to have a voice in this book because I can take other moms in business behind the curtain and show them the strategies I’ve learned in how to create success in both arenas.”
